abcTajpu is an extension for Firefox and Thunderbird that lets you use special characters for different languages, such as letters with diacritics or other international characters and symbols.
You can access it from your browser's context menu. Select 'abcTajpu' to display the different categories in which the characters are organized. abcTajpu also lets you enter characters using keyboard shortcuts.
There are 48 languages recognized by abcTajpu, including: Russian, Greek, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Romanian, Polish, Korean, and so on. From the settings you can change the languages that appear on the menu.
To enter a character, just select it from the list. You can also create your own keyboard shortcuts and disable them if they conflict with other extensions.

After changing to a new version of Thunderbird (68.1.1 32-Bit), the App seems not to work any longer. Is there a way to make it work again? It was such a great tool! Regards, Peter...
